After a year of slavery in the R&D department, PROLINE is finally ready to
unveil our most progressive line of Wakeboard and Water-Ski specific handles
and mainlines. Each year at PROLINE we use the latest technology to develop
the most innovative line of products in the rope industry. We used every available resource to design this year’s line with input from our reps, pro riders, pro skiers, grassroots riders, grassroots skiers dealers, distributors, and of course our own engineers. In 1982 a company was born on the shores of Lake Sammamish with a modest goal; “Build a great Ski, and the Skiers will build a great company.” 27 years later HO Sports is proud to say we’ve accomplished that goal. Over the years we’ve set other goals and accomplished them as well, but a decision we are very proud of was keeping our manufacturing here in the USA, where all of the Syndicate Skis are produced today. The entire line of HO Sports gear was developed for one purpose; “To have fun on the water behind the boat!” We’ve had fun testing them and we hope you have as much fun riding them.

After we made our db Series and Polk/MOMO products perform superbly in a car, we took them where few speaker components and parts dare go: on the water. Our engineers and designers wanted to put our product to the test, so they subjected everything to ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) scrutiny to ensure db and Polk/MOMO product performed as well on the water as they do on the boulevard.
Both db Series and Polk/MOMO product were put under two grueling tests--B117-03 Standard Practice for Operating Salt Spray (Fog) Apparatus, and D4329-99 Standard Practice for Fluorescent UV Exposure of Plastics—to see if they could stand up to a harsh marine environment.
Under the procedures for the Salt Fog test, components were exposed to a temperature of 95 degrees Fahrenheit and a 5% salt solution for 500 hours. Under the Ultra Violet test, components were placed in an accelerated weathering machine and subjected to a series of conditions for a test period of 500 hours. Those conditions included 8 hours of UV-B light, black body temperature of 60 degrees Celsius and 4 hours condensate water, black body temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. This cycle was repeated continuously during the test period. |
